This big boy is Mack - Mack came to us when his owner passed-away leaving Mack without a place to go. Thankfully for Mack, his owner's caregiver couldn't bare the thought of Mack going to a shelter so she took him in and contacted HLR. They do not come any sweeter than Mack - Mack is a gentle giant - he really just likes to lay next to you on the floor and of course get a bit of loving. Mack is house-broken, fully trustworthy in the house uncrated and does well with other dogs (large and small) and he hasnt paid any attention to his feline housemates. He is just so loving and so easy going - you will just love him. He is great with kids and enjoys getting lots of attention from his foster kid. He absolutely loves going on walks (not to mention all the petting he gets from kids in the neighborhood!) His favorite thing, besides people of course, is lounging around on a big, soft dog bed. Mack has excellent house manners and is content to lounge around the house, although he does like to follow his foster mom around and make sure she doesn't do anything too exciting. Mack is a calm, sweet, laid back guy with lots of love he can't wait to give when he finds his forever home. UPDATE: Mack is a really sweet dog! Mack had some weight to lose and he is now looking fantastic and is very happy with his new size. In fact, he would really like for you to come visit him in person to show off his new sleek physique, he is pretty proud of the 50 lbs he has lost! He still loves going on walks, has excellent leash manners, and enjoys attention from kids in the neighborhood. Mack is calm, attentive, and loves people. Mack does have diabetes insipidus, but is managed with just two pills a day. To go right along with Mack's excellence of a dog, he gobbles up his pills easily with his meals (what a good boy!). Mack's fantastic foster mom and sister are trying to get some better pictures of Mack, but he always thinks he is in trouble when they try to take his picture since he likes to be a right next to his people and doesn't understand he has to stay a few feet back!
