This is a great amp in perfect condition. It's less than a year old but it's too big/loud for my needs/home.
It's got a ton of built-in effects and amp models. You can dial in clean tones from bright and sparkly to sharp and crunchy, perfect for anything from country to classic rock. On the other hand you can get some gnarly overdrive tones all the way up to high-gain metal tones. My favorite model is Metal (sounds just like a Mesa Boogie Rectifier). The distortion/overdrive reacts to your playing and your guitars volume, a lot like a tube amp. Some of the Amp models include Fender Twin, Orange AD30, Vox AC30, Mesa Dual Rectifier and a whole bunch more.
I'm also including with the amp the Shortboard MkII. This allows you to select any of your presets while playing live. Not only can you pick which amp model you're playing through, you can assign different effects to each button to use while playing. It's basically a full-featured pedal board. Each preset can have its own set of effects, so for every single present (clean, drive, crunch, metal..etc.) You can have a different pedal board. The expression pedal can be switched from Volume (pre or post) to Wah on the fly. The board is in great condition, every button, light and switch is in perfect order. There are a few minor scratches but that's to be expected from something that gets stomped on all day. Oh and there's a built in looper and gain boost that can only be used with the Shortboard. It's pretty cool.
Every effect can be tweaked to the tiniest detail (gain, volume, eq, swell, decay, pre, post and more) from the amp itself or from your computer, just connect the pedal-board to your computer with a usb cable and open the Line 6 Spider Edit software (Free online). You can tweak these settings from your computer while you play to dial in exactly what you're looking for.
This is one of the most popular and best-selling amps for a reason! I hate to let it go but I gotta downsize. The amps software is fully updated and while it's easy to figure out on your own, the instructions can be downloaded for free online.
I'm selling both items together with an ethernet cable to connect the board to the amp for $500.00 firm. The setup would sell for at least $700 retail.
