German Shepherd Dog - Bonnie & Clyde - Large - Adult - Male
This here is Bonnie (cream) and Clyde (brown & black)! The mated pair was found running at large with their newborn pups, who were no more than two days old. We believe that they were bred and then dumped, but the exact reasons why are unknown. As they raised their pups and watched them find good homes, Bonnie was recovering from heart worms. Now that they are nice and healthy again, they are ready to find a home of their own! These two must go together; they have been through thick and thin with one another, and have taken care of each other, probably their whole lives. They absolutely cannot be separated, for one cannot live without the other--quite literally. When Bonnie is separated from Clyde, she is a mess. She refuses to eat, and she cries and whines until he comes back to her. When taken to the dog park or taken outside, when they walk, they are like carriage horses; they walk side-by-side, every turn and step is alike. These two are good with other dogs, as long as they are properly introduced, and the other dog is not extremely hyper and all up in their face, specifically Bonnie's. While Bonnie is the type of dog who seeks out attention from humans, Clyde is very calm and laid back, and he does not seek it out. He likes attention, but he simply does not seek it out. Unfortunately, Clyde is also a cat chaser, so we cannot let him go home to a family with cats. These two must go to a home where they will be loved, and considered a part of the family. Somewhere where they will be kept inside, kept safe, and where they can make great memories with their family. Their adoption fee is $300.
